Idle No More calls on all people to join in a revolution which honors and fulfills Indigenous sovereignty which protects the land and water. Colonization continues through attacks to Indigenous rights and damage to the land and water. We must repair these violations, live the spirit and intent of the treaty relationship, work towards justice in action, and protect Mother Earth.
This needs to be sent far and wide people!! Your contacts in the US, to Australia to every First Nation, Metis and Inuit we know. If not, our collective apathetic attitude will signal to Harper we don't care and we aren't doing anything about it. Our grandparents and the ones before them fought and died for these rights, let us honour them by standing up and protecting them.... This is our responsibility and our duty. .
If you do participate in the bill c45 rallies, remember that WE must keep them peaceful - the level of racism and racist attitudes have sky-rocketed. Do not give the authorities any reason to arrest us. Remind the people that our quarrel is NOT against the 'white man'. Our quarrel is with the Harper Government, and then they will see we are all fighting for the same thing. United we stand; divided we fall... the last thing Harper wants is one unified voice. Peace & Solidarity!

I participated in the December 19 "Idle No More" protest in London. SHUT DOWN THE 401 AND 402, WELLINGTON STREET AND DUNDAS!!!! You tied the whole City of London in a KNOT! That is the way to get your message out. PEACEFULLY AND EFFECTIVELY. Democracy is often "inconvenient". Sorry to those who grumbled about not getting to Tim's on time. Who is working to preserve CANADIAN DEMOCRACY?? IDLE NO MORE!!!
